100% Soy Wax

Each Micandle is made from 100% soy wax. There are no chemicals added aside from the essential oils to infuse scents to the candles. But why use soy wax?

• Vegan-friendly and sustainable: Soy wax is made from hydrogenated soybean oil, which is a plant that easily grows in warm regions like the Philippines.
• Non-toxic: Paraffin is made from petroleum which may contain an additive, benzene, that has been identified as carcinogenic. When paraffin burns, it leaves toxins in the air that are harmful to the body. On top of that paraffin candles produce soot. All of these downsides do not happen when you light up a Micandle.
• Lingering scent: To top it all off, soy wax retains scent better than paraffin. In just a few minutes of lighting a Micandle, your room will be bathed in the luxurious scents of these aromatic soy wax candles.

Wooden Wick

Another unique feature of Micandle is the wooden wick. Wooden wicks are more eco-friendly than cotton wicks and have a better scent throw. Wooden wicks are wider which promotes even heating up of the soy wax and better fragrance diffusion. Another upside of wooden wicks is that they crackle when lit, reminding you of sitting by a beach-side bonfire or getting cozy near a fireplace.

Minimalist Aesthetic

Micandle is made by pouring melted soy wax into heat-resistant glass jars. They come in solid white color or a frosted amber jar. The minimalist design is elegant to look at and won’t clash with the aesthetics of any room.

Micandle also released limited-edition scented candles that come in marble jars. Marble has long been associated with luxury and indulgence which befits the scents that were released with it: Bergamot and Tobacco Vanilla.
